In Rupandehi, three people have fallen ill after consuming the medicine 'Garcinia Cambogia' ordered online for weight loss.
Dr. Nandu Pathak, senior physician of Lumbini Regional Hospital said that one of the patients came for treatment two weeks ago, one last week and one on Sunday.
'It has been more than one and a half months since the patients who came for treatment have taken the medicine,' he said. He said it will affect the kidneys. He also suggested not to consume things sold as medicines available online without consulting a doctor.
