Chief Minister of Lumbini Province, Chetnarayan Acharya, has asked the builders to complete their work on time in the construction sector.

Inaugurating the second session of the Nepal Construction Industry Council Lumbini Province Committee on Sunday, Chief Minister Acharya directed the construction professionals to complete the work on time as it is their task to take over the contract and stall the projects without completion.

'Even if the work has already been completed, the government will pay easily,' he said, 'a policy decision has been made to implement the plan above 5 lakh through competition.' He also said that since he is committed, he is trying to advance the construction work through competition and e-tender will be done by connecting small projects. He said that during the implementation of the

plan, the responsibility of the government to pay 2 billion 130 million last year has been increased and the government has taken initiatives to raise resources. He said that by paying 580 crores for water supply projects last year, the work of speeding up the projects which were stopped in the middle has been carried forward .

The good work done by construction professionals can be created from the citizen level and he has also requested to pay attention to it.
