The Siddharth Highway, which was blocked by a dry landslide on Saturday afternoon, has been opened in one direction. Hundreds of vehicles and passengers were stranded after the Palpa-Butwal road on the Siddhartha Highway was blocked due to a dry landslide that fell near Upper Siddhababa, Tinau Rural Municipality-3 of Palpa.

District Traffic Police Office Palpa has informed that it will take some time for the road to be opened for dual carriageway due to the large landslide with stones. After the road was opened, vehicles from both sides were sent to their destination from Dobhan and Chidiakhola, police said. More than 5 thousand vehicles pass through the highway every day.
