IGP is the police stationed at the border: Inspector General of Armed Police Aryal

Addressing the Satain anniversary ceremony of Armed Police Force Nepal No. 5 Bindhyavasini Bahini headquarters on Friday, Aryal directed them to work with care for their nation and the nation's flag because if only 1 person out of 100 people deployed as border guards makes a mistake, the entire organization will be disgraced.

'Border security is not possible with a single effort,' he said, 'so it is necessary to work hand in hand with the citizens of the border area, attention should be paid to it.' He said that an armed police program was conducted with the residents of the border area to improve relations with the citizens.

Lumbini is a special province economically, politically, and religiously. Mentioning that, he instructed to play an effective role in controlling revenue leakage. Aryal said that since the armed police are assigned to protect the people at the border, they are not soldiers, constables, officers, but should fulfill their responsibilities as representatives of the nation.

'It is not acceptable to show negligence in border defense,' he said, 'Rescuing a criminal is also a crime. Take care. Everyone should work with the spirit of a commander. The person on duty is the IGP.'

Bahinipati Armed Police Deputy Inspector General Abhikumar Khatri said that the armed police are stationed from Putha Himal, the highest peak of Lumbini province in the east, to Khairaghat in Rupandehi near the sea level.

'whatever Elections are also being passed with collective spirit,' he said, 'In the province, armed police are in the forefront of border security, infiltration control, injured rescue, disaster management, fire control.' He informed that due to the role played in border, internal security and revenue growth, 35 crore 20 lakh revenue was collected from Lumbini province last year through illegal immigration control. In the

anniversary program, Nepalgunj sub-metropolitan chief Prashant Bista, Sidwarth municipality chief Istiaq Ahmad Khan, Lumbini cultural municipality chief Sajrudwin Khan were given certificates of appreciation for their role in border management.

Similarly, the winner of the game organized on the occasion of the Bahini's anniversary and the armed police who performed the best work throughout the year were awarded.
