Bill on local service operation submitted in Lumbini State Assembly

Dilkumari Budha, chairperson of the provincial affairs and law committee, submitted the bill along with the report to the state assembly in Wednesday's meeting of the provincial assembly. The bill, which was registered in the Provincial Assembly on May 30, was sent by the Assembly to the Provincial Affairs and Law Committee for discussion on June 13. Chairperson Budha informed the assembly that the 16th meeting of the committee held on June 15th discussed the bill and the 30th meeting on July 16th approved the bill with the report. In the

bill, mainly one law officer in all 109 municipalities of Lumbini province. will be kept. now There is no post of law officer at the local level. As a result, there has been a problem in the work of the judicial committee and the effectiveness of the administration of justice. State Assembly member Nima Giri informed that it is arranged that employees working at the local level should submit the details of their daily performance to the office, while the chief administrative officer should submit the details of the performance to the Municipal Mayor/Chairman.

The right to be promoted from the local level to the 12th level staff and to be able to appoint a chief administrative officer is included in the bill. There is a provision that the ministry can transfer employees to any local level within the province, and when local level employees are transferred, the permission of both municipalities is not required. At present, there is a provision to require the permission of both municipalities when trying to transfer between municipalities.

Ishwari Acharya, Spokesperson of the Provincial Assembly Secretariat and Law Deputy Secretary, said that the bill will be passed after it is discussed in the State Assembly.
