Gautam Budh International Airport located in Bhairahawa has been operational from midday on Friday. After noon, flights and landings from the airport are being operated regularly. Now the planes coming from Kathmandu are landing here and returning to their destination.
According to the information officer of the airport, Vinod Rawat, three ships that were held here initially arrived on Thursday night and departed from here. Rawat informed that the airport has been fully operational since midday. "Now there is no problem with the flight and landing," he said, "the airport has been put into operation."
According to Rawat, the plane of Buddha Air that slipped from the runway during landing on Thursday night has not yet been removed.
