One person went missing on Saturday after being swept away by the flood in the Rapti river. Among those trapped in the flood of Rapti river in Lamhi municipality-7 Hasnapur, two people have been rescued safely, while one person has gone missing after being washed away by the flood.

48-year-old Tularam Yadav and 40-year-old Dayaram Yadav, residents of Rajpur-2, have been rescued. According to the district police, 18-year-old Rajkumar Yadav, who was with them, disappeared after being swept away by the flood.

Farmers of Rajpur rural municipality-2 were caught in the flood of Rapti river while coming back from Lamhi to sell milk.

Although three people were together, one person was swept away by the flood and two people were saved by climbing a simal tree.
