Rapti rural municipality-1, Bhaluwang, on Saturday, a motorcyclist died after being hit by a minitruck.
Santosh Kumar Yogi, 44 years old of Gadhwa Rural Municipality-1 Kalakate, died when the mini truck No. Ra 1 B 2063 going from Ghorahi to Narayangadh hit the motorcycle No. Lu 14 P 4999 going from east to west.
Yogi, who was seriously injured in the collision, died during treatment at Bhaluwang Hospital, the local police office of Bhaluwang has informed. District Police Chief SP Ram Bahadur KC said that the driver, 32-year-old Rajkumar Bik of Ghorahi Sub-Metropolitan City-13, was taken into custody and the incident was being investigated.
