Due to continuous rain since Thursday evening, traffic has been blocked due to landslides on all major roads connecting Myagdi headquarters to Beni.
According to information given by District Police Office Information Officer Rajan Rayamazhi, traffic has been blocked due to mountain flood on Maldhunga-Beni road entering Myagdi via Kathmandu, Pokhara, landslide in 5 Kerabari, and landslide in Beni municipality-1 seam of Baglung-Beni road.
Due to the landslide, even the capital city from big cities The night buses left for Myagdi and Mustang have not been able to enter Beni. Buses leaving Beni for big cities including Kathmandu, Pokhara, the state destination, do not leave the bus park. Destination passengers are stranded.
Similarly, traffic is completely blocked due to landslides in Raghuganga Rural Municipality-2 Kunauto, Annapurna Rural Municipality-6 in Mahbhir, Annapurna-2 in Tatopanibhir and Annapurna-3 in Sukebagar and Guinthebhir in the Myagdi section of the Beni-Jomsom road in Kaligand from the headquarter Beni to Mustang.
Similarly, landslides blocked the traffic at Bhir turning Beni 4 towards Beni-Darwang road going west from Beni, Seam and Lampata in Mangla Rural Municipality-2 and Bangebhir in Malika Rural Municipality-6.
Police say that the road will not be opened immediately as the rain has not stopped. Information officer Rayamazhi informed that efforts are being made to start the traffic operation after the rain stops.
