Two laborers have died after being buried by a mound of mud while digging a drain in Gharpazhong rural municipality-5 Dhumba of Mustang.
According to Chief Deputy Superintendent of Police Bhojraj Pandey of the District Police Office, 23-year-old Hom Bahadur Budhathoki of Lalbandi Municipality-15 of Sarlahi District and 22-year-old Ravi Darlami Magar of Garhwa Rural Municipality-1 of Dang were killed when a mound of mud fell while digging a drain at Kuchap Teranga Gumba in Dhumba, Gharpazhong. He died on the spot.
With the help of the army and the police who reached the spot, the body was removed from the mound using a dozer and taken to the district hospital Jomsom for post-mortem.
The police said that the relatives of the deceased have been informed about the incident and the body will be handed over after the arrival of the relatives.
