Kusumraj Subedi has been appointed as Vice President of Wagmati Pradesh University. Subedi has been appointed as the vice president of Wagmati Province University Executive Council.
It is arranged that the vice-president will be the administrative head of the university. There is an arrangement to appoint the vice president from among the three candidates recommended by the selection committee formed by the guardian committee. According to the same arrangement, the guardian committee assigned the responsibility of vice president to Subedi.
According to the statute of the university, the term of office of the vice president is four years. The recommendation committee along with Subedi chose the names of 5 people for the final stage. Along with Subedi, Khemraj Joshi, Devchandra Manandhar, Dharmadatta Tiwari and Shivraj Sanjel were selected in the final five.
Subedi of Chitwan Khairhani-5 has been involved in the teaching profession for about 20 years . Subedi, who has been teaching at Shahid Smriti Multipurpose Campus located in Khairhani-3, has graduated from Tribhuvan University with a degree in pedagogy under the Faculty of Education and Curriculum Evaluation.
