A truck accident occurred on Sunday morning at Bharatpur Metropolitan City-29 Simaltal on Narayangadh-Muglin road.
The Chitwan District Police Office informed that the truck numbered No. 6 B 6283 had an accident. In the same way, a microbus number P 3-01-005 B 9766, which was going from Kawasoti to Kathmandu, hit a pedestrian at Gaighat on the same road section.
41-year-old Suklal Gurung of Tanahun Ambukhairhani Rural Municipality-5 was hit by a microbus while crossing the road at 6 am, said the spokesperson of Chitwan District Police Office, DSP Bhesraj Rizal. His condition is serious.
DSP Rizal informed that Gurung had injuries on his head and legs. He is being treated at Chitwan Medical College's teaching hospital in Bharatpur. DSP Rizal said that detailed details about the truck accident in Simaltal have not been received.
