Cultural leader Hariram Joshi and culturalist and writer Surya Prasad Lakoju have been awarded. The Gyankaji-Mohanlal Khin Memorial Service Fund established in the memory of culture scholar Gyankaji Manandhar and his father Mohanlal Khin, who were born in Banepa and made a significant contribution to the education, literature and culture of Kavre, has honored them.

With the establishment of Akshaya Kosh, culture Shiromani Joshi and culture scholar Lakoju were honored by the fund for the first time. Joshi was awarded the Gyankaji-Mohanlal Khin History Honor Award and Suryaprasad Lakoju, a writer and culturalist, was awarded the Gyankaji-Mohanlal Khin Culture Honor Award.

Both were honored with 15,000 in cash. Prof. Dr. Purushottamalochan Shrestha mentions that it is his deeds that make people known forever. Gyankaji Manandhar Kavre said that he is a resource person for studies. He himself in history and culture. He said that Manandhar's contribution was made clear by the published works.

Culture expert Gyankaji Manandhar passed away on August 8, 2080. On the occasion of his anniversary, he established a memorial fund on behalf of his family. Manandhar's son Bhuvankaji Manandhar said.
