A cyclist died when an out-of-control pick-up van collided with a bus near Bharatpur Municipal Corporation-1 Ramnagar Orala on Narayangadh-Muglin road on Saturday afternoon.

According to Chitwan District Police Office, 64-year-old Ram Thapa of Chitwan Bharatpur Metropolitan City-1 Ramnagar is the deceased.

At 20 minutes past four o'clock in the afternoon, coming from Muglin towards Narayangadh Ba P 01-026 Pick-up van No. 5519 was going to Muglin from Narayangarh and collided with Bus No. 2 B 855 . After that, DSP Bhesraj Rizal, the spokesperson of the district police office, who came across the uncontrolled pick-up van bicycle, informed.

DSP Rizal said that the seriously injured cyclist Thapa was taken to Bharatpur government hospital for treatment and the doctor there declared Thapa dead around 5 o'clock.
