Fedi Landslide: The road leading to Khyangphedi is blocked

The flood in the Tadi River swept away three suspension bridges in the area and communication from one settlement to another was also broken. According to Prem Syangtang, assistant principal of Gyangphedi Secondary School, the main road from Dupcheswar-7 Shikharbensi to Gyangphedi in Dupcheswar-1 Kudung has been completely washed away by the river. The road connection with other settlements of Dupcheshwar-1 Gyangphedi has been blocked.

Since there is no alternative road or road connecting the said ward, the team that arrived to take rescue and damage assessment has been stopped from going to Gyangphedi. Due to the lack of roads and paths, the neighborhood of 1,600 households in Ward No. 1 Khyangfedi has been completely closed.
