Jure section under Arani highway has been blocked on Wednesday due to flooding after incessant rains. More than two dozen passengers, including buses, boleros, containers, and other vehicles, who had gone to Kathmandu from border areas Tatopani and Bahrbise, were stranded in the landslide area.
Locals here are asking the security personnel and public representatives to surrender. According to him, the passengers who went to Kathmandu are stuck on the road, while some local people are taking risks and are traveling in the steep river.
