The road has been blocked since Tuesday morning due to a landslide in Hakpara of Hariharpurgarhi rural municipality-4 of Sindhuli under the Madan Bhandari highway. According to the police, it will take time to open the blocked road due to a 50-meter long landslide with rocks and stones.

With the help of the municipality, the work of removing landslides is being done by using dozers. Kamal Kumar Rai, Ward President of Ward No. 4 informed that since it is difficult to remove the landslide with only one machine, there are talks to bring another one. Hundreds of vehicles were stranded on the road after the road was blocked.
