Two more dengue cases have been confirmed in Kavre in the last 24 hours. According to the district health office, with the confirmation of dengue infection in two more people, the number of dengue infected people in Kavre has reached 50.
Ragishree Kashpati Shrestha, Head of the District Health Office, informed that 50 people, including 23 men and 27 women, had dengue infection in the district from 1st Shravan to 10th August.
According to the information received from the office, among the 13 local levels of Kavre, Banepa, Panauti and Dhulikhel Municipalities are comparatively infected. Dengue infection has been confirmed in 2 women, 4 men and 6 women in Panauti Municipality and 2 women in Panchkhal Municipality.
Similarly, 1 male and 2 females in Namobuddha Municipality, 1 male in Mandandeupur Municipality, 3 males and 4 females in Bhumlu Rural Municipality, 3 males in Roshi Rural Municipality and 1 male in Temal Rural Municipality have contracted dengue.
