40-year-old Chalimayan Thing of Hariharpurgarhi rural municipality-1 Shikhar of Sindhuli died on Monday after being struck by lightning.
Sindhuli Police Chief SP Govindraj Kafle said that Thing, who was plowing paddy in the field, died on the spot when she was struck by lightning.
40-year-old Lukumayan Rumwa and her 18-year-old daughter Sushila Rumwa of the same rural municipality-1 who were injured by lightning are being treated at Lama Polyclinics in Makwanpur district, the police said.
