A cowshed has been destroyed by fire in Bethanchok Rural Municipality Ward No-1, Hattidhunga located in Kavrepalanchok district. Madhusudhan Timalsina, Ward President of Bethanchok Rural Municipality Ward No. 1, informed that a fire broke out in the cow shed of Govind Ghimire of Bethanchok Rural Municipality Ward No.
Ramesh Shah Kanu, in-charge of Chamrangweshi-Dunkhark Police Station informed that the fire started from the feed shop also spread to the adjoining cow shed and 1 cow, 1 cow calf and 1 buffalo paddy were burnt to death. According to him, other animals in the barn were rescued alive. There was no loss of life in the fire.
He said that there was a loss of 945,000 rupees in the fire, including utensils, food, and clothes in the cow shed and shop. According to him, the fire that started at 2 am was brought under control at 5:45 am with the help of locals.
Village Chairman Bhagwan Adhikari said that he was going to the scene of the incident carrying material to give relief to the families affected by the fire.
