Nagadhunga-Naubise road has been operational in two ways. The road section, which was blocked by landslides all day on Wednesday, was opened in a one-way manner from the evening of the same day.

Due to rain and traffic jam, the road could not be operated in two directions as the landslide could not be removed in time. A landslide fell 700 meters below Nagdhunga towards Naubise section.

Ishwar Bahadur Rizal, the head of Nagadhunga-Muglin Road Project Eastern Section, said that the road has been operational since 5:30 pm on Friday. "Now all the landslides have been removed, since the landslides have not stopped, it has taken time to remove them," he said, "the risk of landslides after rains remains, technicians and machines have been kept in readiness."

Due to the one-way road, thousands of passengers entering and leaving Kathmandu were forced to suffer from traffic jams.
