The stone in the Bhimeshwar temple has been 'sweating' since Wednesday afternoon. Rajendra Shrestha of the temple management committee said that 'sweat' has been coming from 12:45 in the afternoon on the rock of Bhimeshwar.
Earlier on Saturday 5th of Shravan, Shila was sweating from 1:47 in the afternoon. Shrestha said that this time the sweat covered the whole part of Shila. Last Saturday, 'sweat' was coming continuously from the left side of Shila.
Earlier in February of 2077, before the Corona virus, the whole part of the Bhimeshwar stone He said that he was sweating. After sweating on the rocks Shrestha said that devotees, including locals, gather in the temple premises and ring bells with instruments, light incense, and the main people of the temple are beating the stones with fans.
There is a popular belief that black water drops are seen on the Shila (rock) of Bhimeshwar and that it is 'sweating'. A large crowd of people taking cotton cloths to wipe the 'sweat' on the stone has gathered in the temple. After 'sweating' on the temple stone, the priest informed the locals and the temple management committee.
Soon after the news of 'sweating', district administration, police, Nepali army and other chiefs and representatives reached the temple. There is a popular belief that if there is sweat on the rock of Bhimeshwar, it is taken as a sign indicating the future. It is customary for the head of the state to offer forgiveness due to 'sweating' on the rock.
