Jitendra Sonal has been appointed as the leader of the Madhesh Pradesh parliamentary party of the Democratic Socialist Party (LOSP). LOSPA has appointed Sonal as the parliamentary party leader of Madhesh state assembly on Sunday.
Elected to the state assembly from Bara constituency, Sonal is also the Madhesh state president of LOSPA. Earlier, state parliamentarian Abhiram Sharma, who was the leader of the parliamentary party, was suspended by the state assembly secretariat after he was found guilty by the court in the murder of Asai Thaman Vick of the armed police. Sharma has been out of touch since the court convicted him.
Sonal, the leader of Madhesh Parliamentary Party of LOSPA, who has been vacant for a long time, has been brought. LOSPA currently has 8 MPs in the Madhesh State Assembly. LOSPA also participates in the government under the leadership of public opinion.
