The police have arrested a Bangladeshi citizen from Birganj. The arrested person is Mohammad Sahadat Hussain, 29 years old, resident of Hobiganj Holding No. 777, Sylhet, Bangladesh.
He was taken into custody by the police from room number 202 of Aryan Hotel and Lodge located in Birgunj Metropolitan City-16 at around 10:15 on Wednesday night.
While checking the hotels in Birganj for the festival, the Bangladeshi citizen was found and questioned because he did not have the passport visa and other necessary documents with him, and he was sent to the immigration office in Birgunj Parsa on Thursday for necessary action, said DSP Deepak Bharti, spokesperson of Parsa Police.
