The police have detained 3 people with a large quantity of narcotic marijuana. Police arrested three people with marijuana from Karjanha municipality-10, school toll.
According to District Police Office, Siraha, a police team led by Chief Deputy Superintendent of Police Panch Kumar Bakhu of Area Police Office, Mirchaiya seized 217 kg of ganja from the house of a local Bihari chief on Friday.
The marijuana was packed in 14 plastic bags and kept in the house of the chief. Based on the suspicion of involvement in this incident, the police has detained three persons. According to the police, 20-year-old Kisun Mukhia of Balra Police Station, Ward 12, Madhubani District, India, 62-year-old Khadak Bahadur Tamang of Manhari Rural Municipality 9 of Makwanpur and 40-year-old Chano Devi Mukhia of the locality have been detained.
Siraha Police Spokesperson Deputy Superintendent of Police Muktinath Sapkota said that they are under arrest and are investigating their involvement.
