The Gajendra Narayan Singh Hospital in Saptari's Rajviraj has become tense after the death of a patient on Thursday afternoon.
After the death of 20-year-old Mo Manir of Vishnupur rural municipality-4 Kankatta during treatment, his relatives are protesting in the hospital premises.
Manir, who is preparing to go to Saudi Arabia next Tuesday, was seen at the local health post five days ago after developing fever. After the treatment there did not cure him, the family took him to Dr. Rajviraj. Murali was undergoing treatment at Prasad Singh's clinic.
On Thursday afternoon, after Manir's condition worsened at Dr. Singh's clinic, he was brought to the emergency room of Gajendra Narayan Singh Hospital. After he died shortly after being brought to the emergency room, his relatives are raising slogans and demonstrating in the hospital premises saying that the death was due to the negligence of the doctor.
The hospital complex has become tense due to the demonstration of relatives. Now a large number of police have been mobilized in the hospital.
