There has been a robbery in Golbazar Municipality-1 Muksar Baihiriwan of Siraha. A group of robbers beat and looted a house last night.
The robbers who came in a group of 12-15 people at the house of local Jageshwar Ram stole 12 thousand cash, gold and silver ornaments.
Jageshwar said that the group of robbers beat him and took control of his mobile phone and robbed him of cash, silver and gold ornaments. After the incident, he called the nearby police station in Muksar, but the police came only at 4 in the morning, he said.
The local police office, Golbazar, said that it was a general theft incident. Inspector Sunil Karki, police chief of Golbazar, said that there was an incident of general theft and an investigation is underway.
