Police have arrested a woman from Birganj with drugs. The arrested person is 23-year-old Sushmita Periyar of Makwanpur Hetaunda Metropolitan City-11 Bharyang Tol. He was arrested on Saturday evening by a joint team of Nepal and Armed Police from Birganj Customs Gate.
When the police stopped and searched Pariyar, who was walking from Raxaul to Birgunj under suspicious conditions, they found various types of prohibited drugs hidden in her thighs with white tape.
Nufin-10 ampoules, Phenargan-10 ampoules and Diazepam-10 ampoules were found with him. Parsa police spokesman DSP Deepak Bharti informed that the district court has extended the deadline for three days for the drug-related crime against him.
