On Monday, a Tata Sumo and a motorcycle collided on the east-west highway located in Chandrapur municipality-4. Two people riding the motorcycle died. The driver of the Tata Sumo absconded after the accident. The police said they are looking for the driver.

Near Dhansar Bridge located in Chandrapur-4, a Tata Sumo bearing the number Bagmati Pradesh 03-001 Ch 531 traveling from west to east and a motorcycle bearing the number Pradesh 1-02-043 P 8025 traveling from east to west collided with each other. Tulsi Ojha and Bibus Baskota of Sundarharaincha Municipality-11 of Morang have died, said DSP Rajkumar Rai of the area police office Chandranigahpur.

Both were seriously injured in the accident. When both were brought to the civil hospital in Chandranigahpur for treatment, the doctor DSP Rai said that he was declared dead. Tata Sumo is under the control of Chandrinigahpur area police the driver is absconding.

The bodies of both the deceased have been sent to Primary Health Center Chandranigahpur for post-mortem.
