Forty-seven people were injured when a bus traveling from Murkipalia village of Baragadhi rural municipality-3 in Bara district to India met with an accident at Mishri Ghadari in Samastipur of Vihar state on Sunday. The condition of 10 of them is critical.

They are being treated at Samastipur's Government Sadar and Weewan Hospitals. They had reserved the bus No. 7K 6446 from Pipra Basatpur village and left for pilgrimage.

Amit Karki, assistant police inspector in charge of Murkipalika police station, said that the accident happened after a truck hit the bus which was going towards Babadham in Jharkhand state. According to him, the truck that collided is under the control of the police. He said that the Indian police is investigating the

incident. Mahendra Sah Kanu, a former teacher of Murkipaliya village, requested the government to provide assistance in the treatment of Nepalese pilgrims who had an accident. "Coordinating with the Bihar government and through the Nepali embassy, ​​support is necessary," he said.
