Chief Minister Singh visited the provincial hospital in Jaleshwar

Chief Minister Singh inspected the hospital's emergency room, maternity ward and laboratory. During the inspection, he observed the duty chart and made an inquiry about the attendance and non-attendance of doctors and health workers. He also inquired about the services of the hospital with the patients and the sick who are being treated in the hospital.

During the inspection, Chief Minister Singh instructed the officials available there to make the services of the hospital organized and effective. He also instructed that better management of sanitation should be done in the hospital.

Speaking to reporters after the inspection, Chief Minister Singh said that he inspected the hospital after receiving complaints that there were no doctors and nurses in the hospital. He mentioned that doctors and nurses should attend and stay at home and be responsible for scheduled work and regular full time.

He informed that the service will be expanded to increase the access of patients to quality health services at the Provincial Hospital Jaleshwar. In response to a question from

journalists, Chief Minister Singh also said that arrangements will be made for doctors to be on full-time duty at provincial hospitals instead of on-call.
