In the case of electrocution in Gonahi tol of Dewahi Gonahi Municipality of Rautahat on Tuesday, the victim has lodged a complaint with the police saying that the neighbor was negligent. The victim's family has filed a case of murder with the local police Garuda to investigate and take action on the death due to leaving a bare wire.
Dewahi Gonahi-7 Ramnaresh Paswan, the brother of the deceased, said that Gulten Yadav's motor was electrocuted while he was watering the field of Ramdaresh Yadav, a neighbor of Chunlilal Paswan of Gonahi tol.
Gulten Yadav's motor left a bare wire while watering Ramdares Yadav's field, and his brother died by falling on it, he said, "This is sheer negligence." It should be investigated. The victim's family has already filed a complaint with the local police Garuda. While going to his farm, the deceased Paswan fell on the bare wire installed to water Ramdaresh's farm and was seriously injured.
District Police Office Gaur Police Inspector Uma Shankar Prasad Gupta said that the family of Paswan, who died due to electric shock, has already filed a complaint with the local police Garuda. Paswan, who was seriously injured due to electric shock, was immediately taken to the Grandi Hospital at Shivnagar Jhajh Bridge by the armed police deployed from Armed Base Camp Dewahi.
Paswan died during treatment. Due to the negligence of the authorities and the weakness of the service users, the death of common people due to electrocution is increasing in Madhesh. Madhesh Province Police Office Janakpur has informed that 449 people have died in Terai/Madhesh in five years since 2075.
