On Wednesday, 2 people died on the spot after a tractor accident in Makalu rural municipality-3 Samatar of Sankhuwasabha. Khadbari was coming from Varun on Kimathanka road section when the tractor fell from the hill.
The driver Kiran Shrestha and the co-driver Udit Shrestha of Khandbari municipality-8 Vishnedhara died on the spot, police inspector Ramkumar Lamichhane of the district police office said. According to him, the tractor fell down about 300 meters from Bhir. The police said that the tractor was washed away by the Arun river.
