CPN-UML District Committee Panchthar has said that even after a long time of progress in the peace process in the country, the loss of property due to careless explosives is a tragedy.

The second full meeting of the party has taken seriously the incident in which 2 people died and two others were injured in the explosion that took place in Falelung rural municipality-5 Dandagaon on August 13 and paid tribute to the children who lost their lives and wished for the full recovery of the injured .

During the conflict, the UML has demanded that political parties along with the government and security agencies at all three levels should be sensitive, saying that it is tragic that the explosives that were left unattended in the district were detonated time and again and the loss of life and property was tragic.

District Committee Chairman Bishnu Kumar Sapkota said that besides conducting a campaign to search and deactivate such items in suspicious places, an awareness campaign has been conducted to remove the psychological fear of the citizens.

Meanwhile, UML has completed the district committee and made it 99 members and has distributed the responsibilities up to various departmental heads and ward level . The decision of the second full meeting of the district committee was announced on Saturday through a press conference. The press conference was coordinated by Press Chautari Panchthar.
