Nirmala Gurung died after being hit by a rock that fell along with a landslide at Feseva in Paktanglung rural municipality-3.
Police Inspector Vivek Basnet of the District Police Office informed that he died during treatment at District Hospital Taplejung. On Saturday afternoon, 26-year-old Gurung was injured when a stone fell from her pick-up van, which was going to Paktanglung from the headquarters, Phungling.
After first treatment at the local health post, he was brought to the district hospital for further treatment. According to Police Inspector Basnet, the van numbered May 1 J 1362 was hit by a rock with a landslide that fell from the road.
