A girl was stabbed to death in Jhapa on Friday. According to District Police Office Jhapa, a teenage girl was stabbed to death at Mahanand Chowk in Arjundhara Municipality-6 on Friday evening.
Manisha Lohar, a 19-year-old girl from Suryodaya Municipality-10 Fikkal in Ilam, was temporarily living in Wirmamode. Police said that 20-year-old Anil Vick of Gauriganga-3 of Kailali stabbed the girl. The locals also beat him up after stabbing him and running away. He is injured.
He is being treated at B&C Hospital in Virtamod. It is the initial assumption of the police that the girl may have been stabbed due to a rift in a love relationship.
