Vehicular movement has come to a standstill due to a landslide in Yangwarak-3 Rizal Bhir under the Panchthar section of the Central Pahari Highway.
The road was blocked due to a landslide that fell from above the road along with the rain on Tuesday afternoon.
Due to the landslides, along with coming from Changthapu and Phalaincha to Yangwarak rural municipality center Tharpu and Phidim, the vehicles and means of transportation from Phidim and Tharpu to Changthapu and Phalaincha to Sadewa and Kalikhola have been stopped.
Under the Panchthar section of the road, there have been many landslides in the 51 km section from Tharpu to Chiwabhanjayan. According to village chairman Bhim Bahadur Yongyan, efforts are being made to open the road by noon.
