Locals of Sakela rural municipality-3 Khidima of the district have built the bridge with their own expenses and labor donation. A modern type of bridge was constructed through public donation at Borakhola in Makhamale and Boratol of the said ward.

Local Makhamle and 40 young people from Tawabhanjang spent three days building a wooden bridge of about 12 meters. Village Chairman Ravi Prakash Rai said that the cost of the bridge is about 150,000 rupees. According to him, sawn and thin wood has been used to build the bridge.

Ward president Gobind Tamang said that the bridge was built because there is a risk to students and locals when the river floods during the rains. 'It was difficult and dangerous for the children here to go to school for primary level studies,' said Tamang, 'it has become easier to travel after the bridge was built.' is . "This work has shown that if you are spontaneous in the development work of your village and society, change will happen by itself," said Rai.
