Congress Chairman and former Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has mentioned that the Constitution of Nepal has ensured the rights of all by embracing the universal recognition of democracy and human rights.

Expressing his greetings on the occasion of the Constitution Day, President Deuba said that the Constitution of Nepal, which was passed by the Constituent Assembly on August 3, 2072 by the elected representatives led by the Congress, is an important achievement of the long and struggling democratic movement.

'This constitution has ensured the rights of everyone by embracing the universal recognition of democracy and human rights. We all commemorate this historic day when the Constitution was promulgated with pride and celebrate it as Constitution Day every year,' President Deuba said in his congratulatory message.

He believes that the day will provide inspiration to everyone to lead the country on the path of economic prosperity while maintaining the institutional stability of the federal democratic republican governance system. Chairman Deuba says that at this time of the day, with the success of the constitution, the determination to ensure the country's development is necessary.
