The General Minister of the ruling Nepali Congress, Gagan Kumar Thapa, has said that the Congress is 100 percent committed to the implementation of the seven-point agreement made with the UML for the formation of the government.

General Minister Thapa said that for the implementation of the agreement with the UML, the entire party line should also create an environment.

In a program held at the party headquarters in Sanepa on Wednesday, General Minister Thapa expressed his belief that the agreement that Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba will become the Prime Minister after UML President KP Sharma Oli led the government for two years will be implemented.

He said that the party should also work on creating an environment for the implementation of the agreement. General Minister Thapa said that based on the same agreement, the government's minimum common program has been decided and it will be made public soon.

After 2 years of the government, the government will be formed under the leadership of our party chairman Sher Bahadur Deuba. We are 100% committed to this agreement. But building its environment in terms of implementing it honestly We have to create an environment even at the district level. About this seven-point agreement, the minimum common program will be made public today.

Chief Minister Thapa directed the party representatives to take initiatives to end the violence at the local level.
