Ravi Lamichhane, chairman of the Rashtriya Swatantra Party, said that he is innocent in the cooperative case and said that now there will be an attempt to drag him to the Gorkha media. While inaugurating the party's national gathering in Kathmandu on Tuesday, he argued that the parliamentary inquiry special committee had proved that he was not a co-operative fraudster.
However, the parliamentary special investigation committee on co-operative fraud has recommended action saying that the directors including Lamichhane should take responsibility as the then directors.
Similarly, Chairman Lamichhane also claimed that he will focus on Gorkha media after he can no longer be called a cooperative thug. Chairman Lamichhane said that the RSWP is not finished and warned others that the RSWP will be done.
