National fencing player Bhishmaraj Dahal, who had reached Japan for three months of training, has been sent back by the immigration there. Dahal was sent back to Nepal by airport immigration in Nagoya citing economic reasons.
Dahal arrived in Kathmandu on Monday night. "Nagoya Immigration returned it saying that they did not prepare enough, the documents required for training in the club and the source of food and living expenses were not guaranteed," said the player Dahal after leaving Kathmandu. He said that immigration also showed the reason why he was unable to train there with the money he had, to return to Nepal later, and because there was no guarantee of a sponsor.
Dahal, who has been involved in fencing for three years, represents Bagmati province. It was decided that he will be in training from September 15 to next December 15 from Hariwan municipality-11 Basa tol of Sarlahi. After that, he submitted a sponsor letter to the immigration office through Bhuvan Humagai, who is in Japan, guaranteeing all the expenses for the entire training period. Based on the same letter, the Japanese embassy in Nepal granted him a visa.
Then, on the 14th, he arrived in Nagoya by Thai Airways and was returned by the Japanese immigration from the airport. Dahal said that he had already spent 2 lakhs for the air fare and other provisions for the program, but it was all wasted when he could not go to the training.
