The CPN-Maoist Center will not disrupt the House of Representatives meeting on Monday. Speaker Devraj Ghimire has said that the Maoists will remove the obstruction in the working arrangement consultation committee meeting called before the House of Representatives meeting.

According to Speaker Ghimire's secretariat, Maoist chief whip Hitraj Pandey has said that he will not obstruct Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli's speech on going on a visit to the League of Nations.

Earlier in the House of Representatives meeting, Chief Whip Pandey has said that he still has objections to UML MP Yogesh Kumar Bhattarai calling the Maoist war 'violence'. Quoting Pandey's statement, the Speaker's Secretariat said, 'We are in favor of removing the word violence, but we will not prevent the Prime Minister from speaking in the House about going abroad. We are not against the speaker. We keep our words and remove obstacles.'

After Prime Minister Oli's address and the submission of the parliamentary special investigation committee's report on cooperative fraud, the current session of the Federal Parliament is coming to an end from today. The government has recommended to the President to end the current session of the Federal Parliament from midnight on Monday.

Sunday's cabinet meeting decided to recommend to President Ramchandra Paudel to end the session of both parliaments from 12 o'clock on Monday night.
