Nepal Civil Servants Union Rupandehi has given one lakh rupees to the Central Library of Congress.
At the central office on Monday, the president of the employees' union Rupandehi Chakrapani Pandey and secretary Balkrishna Kanel handed over a check of one lakh rupees to General Minister Gagan Kumar Thapa. Central member Ajaywabu Sivakoti and central member Naveen Panthi of Nepal Civil Servants Union also participated in the
program. The Union has contributed the money to the Library Management Fund of the Congress to organize the library and run it regularly.
Accepting the check, Chief Minister Thapa expressed his thanks to the employees' union Rupandehi for the constructive support. Naveen Panthi, a central member of the union, said that there is a need for Congress to play a leading role in issuing the Federal Civil Service Act as soon as possible by addressing the issues raised by the employees.
