Share purchase and sale of Gaerkha Media based on the paper: Parliamentary Special Committee

In the report submitted to the Parliament, the committee has recommended the government to make necessary legal arrangements for buying and selling of shares and purchasing tools and equipment.

When buying and selling shares in Gorkha Media Network Pvt. Ltd. and other companies, it was found that the payment instruments and instruments submitted according to the law were not complete, but the purchase and sale was made based on the documents, confirming that the payment process was complete and also paying the corresponding tax, and making binding arrangements regarding the legal provisions related to white shares. It is mentioned in the suggestions and recommendations of the committee to study the arrangements and recommend to the government of Nepal to draw the attention of the relevant agencies to make necessary and appropriate arrangements.
