Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said that the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Indira Ranamar, is being removed from the post. He expressed his surprise saying that there was a big fuss by raising the issue that there was no proposal and there was no discussion in the Parliament.

There was heated debate between the MPs of the ruling party and the opposition party regarding the removal of Deputy Speaker Ranamar. Prime Minister Oli mentioned the same issue in the meeting of the House of Representatives on Monday and questioned how the issue was discussed without a proposal.

He said, 'I would like to tell everyone through the Honorable Speaker - How did the discussion go on the things that have not been brought up, the things that have not been proposed? I did not understand that. The proposal has not come, there has been no such preparation No one has raised the issue. There was an uproar here on matters that were not raised. I was watching - what happened? Not picked up at all.'

Prime Minister Oli said that although it is possible to question and speak in the Parliament, it is wrong to come down to the level of abuse. "Let's talk about it. It's okay. Criticize. But language has limits. We are the elected decent representatives of decent Nepalese society. Will the society look for a model in our actions, speech and behavior? The people should think that the image of their decency, civility and dignity came from the parliamentarians,' Oli said.

Prime Minister Oli said that the social activities of MPs have an impact on the society and should be taken care of.
