Former Ambassador to Israel Kanta Rizal has arrested a domestic worker woman by the Israeli government. He has been kept at the deportation center to be sent home. Israel's Ministry of Interior has decided to deport those domestic workers within 30 days.
The laborer was detained by the police on the way from his place of work to his residence last Thursday. The Nepali embassy said that the date of sending him to Nepal has not been fixed. .
The travel document issued by the Nepali Embassy in Tel Aviv to send those domestic workers home has been given to the police. She came to Israel seven months ago to work at the residence of former Ambassador Rizal. Rizal left Israel on June 31 last year while the government led by former Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal was recalling the ambassadors appointed under political quotas. She was an ambassador in the Congress quota.
Former Ambassador Rizal told Kantipur that the domestic workers had escaped only a few hours before leaving for the airport on the day of her return. When I left my daughter at the airport and returned, there was only one domestic worker in the residence. She has run away with another luggage,' she said to Kantipur, 'We found out that she left us only an hour before going to the airport.'
She said that soon after she returned to Nepal, she informed that the domestic helper working with her had run away and handed over her passport and ticket to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. "I had also requested his family and relatives to return him to Nepal," she said, "The family has been saying that they have no relation with them." I continue to try to find out on my own.'
Rizal was re-recommended as ambassador to Australia by KP Oli's government. But after being accused of leaving domestic workers, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs did not send her name to the parliamentary hearing committee for hearing.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has recommended Chitralekha Yadav as the Nepali Ambassador to Australia on Sunday, three days after he was arrested at the Domestic Workers Embassy. Congress leader Yadav is a former Deputy Speaker.
