Nepal Air Service Corporation has started Kathmandu-Taplejung air flight from Wednesday. Captain Ujwwal Silwal and Ankur Aryal flew the company's ship and 4 passengers have arrived in Taplejung from Kathmandu. Similarly, 2 passengers have gone to Kathmandu from Taplejung.

According to Narayan Kumar Karki, head of Taplejung office of the corporation, this is the first flight since May 11. Currently Taplejung-Kathmandu flight is only one day a week on Wednesday. Karki said that the flight schedule will be increased as the number of passengers increases. Previously, there were up to four flights a week.

Corporation has been flying up to 13 passengers from Kathmandu and 16 passengers from Taplejung. According to the corporation, the number of passengers will decrease as they have to fill up fuel from Kathmandu, but the number of passengers will increase as the fuel will decrease when returning from Taplejung. The fare is 9 thousand 400 rupees one way.
