The main opposition party CPN (Maoist Center) has said that it is preparing to fight against the government. The vice president and spokesperson of the party Agni Prasad Sapkota claimed that the government is trying to reverse the steps taken by the government led by his party in the matter of corruption control, democracy and people's livelihood.

Spokesman Sapkota, speaking to the media after the meeting of the Election Commission, Discipline Commission and Accounts Commission of the party on Tuesday, said that his party will resist the public opinion against the government and the leaders of the ruling party. He also said that since the two-party government has tried to seek the rights of the people in the name of constitutional amendment, the party has adopted a policy of protesting against it.

'If any attempt is made to take away the rights of the people, we will protest against it. We will also protest in the House. And we also protest on the street. Now we are preparing for it," said the spokesperson Sapkota.

He claimed that since the Congress-UML-led government is not honest, public opinion has started to rise against the Prime Minister and power partner leaders in various programs.

'Corruption files are being closed. This two-party government does not seem to be very sincere in terms of democracy. Even in the matter of public livelihood, he did not seem so sincere and serious. Therefore, people's dissatisfaction is increasing in these three aspects,' he added, 'Public opinion has started to rise against the Prime Minister and the leaders of the power partners in various programs.'
