The government should give the answer that I recommended to the Ambassador of India: Dr. Sharma

During the hearing in the Sunday meeting of the hearing committee, the proposed ambassador to India can go again after the parliamentarians return from working in the same country ? He asked that . In response, Sharma said, 'I have not even seen it written in the law and constitution. A directory has been viewed . The answer to this should be given by the government of Nepal.'

He said that since the Nepal government proposed him as ambassador to India, he should answer why he did it. According to Sharma, point number 8 of the Ambassador Appointment Guideline, 2075 states that the position of ambassador is for 4 years and point number 21 states that it is not possible to propose to continue in the country in which the ambassador is employed. Sharma said that he worked in India for 2 years and 4 months and that term was not completed. Similarly, his tenure ended with the recall of the government on 24th June 2081, so there was no continuation. When recommending the ambassador, he said that he was not employed in the position.

Sharma said that the provision of the directory is irrelevant as there is no continuity of tenure in his case and there is no continuity of the current position.
